Group Project Blog

This blog will analyze and explore how music piracy and downloading over the Internet has changed how society consumes music. The time frame for this study will be from 2000 to today, for the new millenium came with the start of music piracy. This is an important topic because it will further explain how the Internet changes today's society. The Internet is powerful, so it's effects on the music industry do not go unnoticed. This topic wil be researched through looking at the relationship between music streaming and record sales before and after the invention of music downloading sources such as Napster.
